What it is

Basically this is the ultimate Halo timer. I don't think you're going to find a Halo timer as complete as this one. Primarily the main feature here is that the timer will speak to you and tell you when items have spawned. It will keep track of any item (or as many) of your choosing for any map or the ctf variant spawn times for that map. You can change maps on the fly and have a number of different visual cues in addition to the speech of the item such as analog timer representation, digital timer representation, clock glow, item icon lists (which bounce when the item is nearing spawn) and item blasting which will shoot the image of the item from small to large. If you prefer a smaller interface and don't care as much for the visual cues, there is also a mini view, which while still maintaining speech and some visual cues, is much smaller. Read through the updates for more information on these features.

What's New?

Features
-All items supported! This is a big one. There is now a menu item labeled 'Item Reports' which allows you to choose which items you would like the timer to inform you about spawning with realtime updating (i.e. add an item while the timer is running).

-Analog Timers. Now in addition to the digital countdown timers there is a analog based count down timer that takes pie shaped chunks out a circle every second. These can be toggled on or off.

-Halo-Dock. Instead of having text which tells you which items are associated with a time, items are now displayed in dock like fashion with picture icons. When these items are within 10 seconds of spawning in the game they will begin to bounce much like an application bouncing in your dock.

-Item blast revamped. Item blast no longer will display across your entire window interfering with your control and viewing. Instead it is now located in the top right corner. Additionally the speed of how fast an item is blasted can be modified (Fast Medium and Slow) or it can be disabled all together.

-Warning and Spawn glow. A recessed cell contains the analog and digital countdown timers, when a countdown reaches 10 seconds the background of this cell glows purple; when the countdown reaches 0 it glows blue.

-Mini view. For those of you who will either not be able to see your screen, just don't glance at it, or prefer to have smaller interface this view is for you. Mini view takes up a fraction of your screen in comparison to the main view. It features all timer controls, a digital elapsed game time which has the warning and spawn glow when anything is within 10 seconds of spawning or is spawning, and analog countdown timers. There is an option drawer which will come out by pressing the arrow on the top right. In this drawer you will find mini Halo-docks (though these do not bounce, but instead has a spinning wheel next to it) so you can see what items are associated with which time. This drawer can also be sized to your liking. As usual you will still be able to hear the timer speak to you. You can swap between these two views at any time.

-User Defaults. The timer will remember what items you selected for item reports, whether analog timers are enabled and the item blast speed/off state from the last time you ran the program.

-Rewind and Advance! Now if the timer was started at a slightly off the user can adjust the time by 2 second intervals or 5 second intervals.

-Clear Inactive Clocks. Once the game is ended the user can clear all previous clock data

-Keyboard shortcuts. Enter starts and stops game; C clears inactive clocks; '=' advances clock by 2 seconds; '-' decreases clock by 2 seconds; '.' advances clock by 5 seconds; ',' decreases clock by 5 seconds.

-All maps now supported!

Fixes
-In version 1.0 when advancing or rewinding the voice would speak if you happened to hit a spawn timer mark or warning mark. It would also continue to speak its list of items even if you hit Game Over. this has been fixed now, and will not speak when you advance, rewind, or end the timer.

-In previous versions the timer would stop counting time when a menu bar or map selection box was clicked on. This has been fixed. While you will not see see the timer update with one of these pressed, when you click off it will display the correct time.
